I am trying to plan for the day I (hopefully)receive an interview for a Regional. Any hints or suggestions(besides choose another job!@!!) for us struggling CFII's? What about the regional sim ride or written test?:(

If you want to know what an interview is like for a regional 121/135 cargo, major, low fare. You can look up any company and get the low down on where, when, how, what.

It is a great site and free you just have to register just like this site, and there is a wealth of information on interviewing at your finger tips. It is a very upto date site.

I don't think there is any trick to interviewing, these days the trick seem to be getting an interview.

Three years ago I interview at three places got offers from all three and went with the one that at the time seemed to have the most up side. Now Iam hanging on the bottom of a senortiy list holding my breath that no more bad news is announced.

Good Luck it can be a frustrating industry.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the understatement of the century. Funny how that worked out for most of us...

But what else would we do? Get a real job? :D

As you are leaving the interview room, drop a $20 bill on the floor.

Then say, "Hey, what is this twenty doing on the ground?"

Pick up the twenty, hand it to your interviewer, and say "This must have fallen out of your pocket...here you go."

Shake his or her hand, give them a wink...and you'll be in newhire class before you know it. ;) ;) ;) ;)
