Key Lime is bad-
Please do not go there, way too many crashes, investigations, fly by night guys..amazing they have been in business for as many years as they have. If you get hired, be prepared to fail a checkride for no reason, be prepared to be in a Navajo for a long time, because they will never upgrade you for years to the metro, and if you leave before a year, they will try to clean you bank out and sue you. Be prepared when you are dead tired, to be told to fly somewhere to deliver papers and if you don't you're fired, and break your 135 duty day and do this 5 dasy a week, hardly able to jumpseat around and have no life. This is KLA. Not reccomended! Go to Great Lakes or Skywest if you want to be in Denver, much better to be at a 121 carrier.
Just my 2 cents worth!

Sounds good, gotta have me some of that. Anyone have a phone # or email so I can get my app. in? I want in on their next class...

(I'm kidding!!!!!!)

I have heard that they are sueing their pilots these days. Sounds like a great place to work! NOT! I agree not the best 135 operator to go to.

I hear from more than one source that Key Lime is awful. However, don't let this ruin the 135 industry. There are plenty of honest, ethical and respectful 135 operators out there. I work for one of them and only have good things to say.

I want to say of course go to a 135 if you have an oppurtunity, there are MANY good ones out there..but stay away from them (KLA) Good luck to anyone building time, I am only stating that they are not a good..... I man terrible..... I mean awful place to be.

Would you say there are more good then bad 135 ops out there? All I ever hear about, and have experience in my short career is quite the opposite. I dont think I've seen a 135 op yet that I would enjoy working for.

I have worked for four good 135 operators. Not all of them are cargo but my current position is.

I think my current company (135 cargo) is a great one to work for. I really don't have anything bad to say about them. They pay a reasonable salary, some benefits, good maintenance, and they trust your judgement when you say the flight's a "No go" for weather.

It's a shame though because I have seen some posts on this site about my company that were very negative. It puts a bad taste in the mouths of anyone who reads them, and they may have never even heard of the company prior to the posts. I know that at least one of those people took MAJOR advantage of my company's trust and was let go, and now ripped them a new one for something he deserved to get fired over.

From what I read on this site, it does seem like it's about 50/50 with the 135 operators. I'll add one for the good side. I used to work for one 2 years ago and only have good things to say. Maintanence was awsome and they did trust your judgement with weather. I hear starcheck over the radio all the time and miss it everytime I hear it.
