Besides "bad" could anyone tell me how cargo ops are faring? Is the auto freight picking up any, any hiring at all, more furloughs on the way?

Haven't been on the ramp in awhile, and just wondering how it's going.

Cargo Industry

The auto freight has been pretty steady for the last 4 weeks now. I have been flying 25 - 30 hours per week. I have been seeing a lot of stuff or diesel engines and electrical components. I think the auto industry is making a slow turn around. I am still seeing a lot of empty car lots. If the economy turns around and car sale go up dramatically the air freight should be booming. Until then, it is anybody's guess.
