Does anyone know who does the corporate flying for Starbucks? Also was wondering are there any corporate jobs based in the North-Northwest of WA other than Oakley in Bellingham? Thanks.

They have/had a GV last year...And also had a job posting for a crewmember, I'm thinking last summerish....And they should be based at KBFI.

Thanks

Thanks Gumby. Do you happen to know where they posted for the position, as in web site? JetSpeed219, Oakley bases a Global Express and some float planes in Bellingham. A guy I went to flight school with is a pilot for them. Awesome job.

I thought they based their airplanes in Oregon for tax reasons.

I believe that I saw it on two sites, climbto350.com, and monster.com. A buddy of mine told me that, a friend of his was looking into the gig, and she heard about from living out in the KBFI area. Like I say, that was almost a year ago!

Starbucks has a 604 and a GV. They hired someone earlier this year.
Spoke with a pilot for them and got the info.

That is really cool, Bellingham is a neat little town, I used to drive up there quite often to visit an ex at WWU. I bet that is an awesome job especially if you get to fly the float planes on top of the GLEX.

Thanks

Thanks again for the info. As for Oakley, yeah he flies both. I guess Oakley bought Spieden Island in the San Jaun Islands and they use the floats to go back and forth. AAAhhhhh, what a life that must be.

Where is Oakley's HQ?

Foothill Ranch,CA. Their building looks like something out of the 'Alien' movies

A beaver and an otter, both turbine conversions, both on amphibs, both flat grey with the jolly roger on the tail (what else would you expect). I would consider life without my right man berry for a job there.

The founder and another guy (former CEO or VP or something) both live in the San Juan Islands. The only office I know of is their own hangar at BLI which is the same color as all the planes (some sort of fascination with flat grey).

That's probably where he's from. Now that he's a billionare, I suppose he can live where ever the F he wants. For HPpilot, a couple corporate depts out of the same area are Alpha Technologies (citations, I think) and Haggen's/Top Foods(conquest).

Oakley's owner lives up in WA. Wouldnt be surprised if he's got a house in So.Cal. either.
