Looking at my Logbook pro, I am starting to see an increase in "dual given" with good weather.

Michigan here

FEB - 18.7 dual given
MAR - 30.1 dual given
APR - 33.1 dual given
May (so far)- 21.1 dual given

8 Students, all private students. Weather gets better, flight hours go up =)

Lets hope the trend continues =)

You'll love it.

One of my students today, it was his 4th lesson. He flys a 150. Winds were 20017G23. I figured I would introduce him to pattern/xwind landings today. We have runway 32/14. Nice little challange, but it hit home when I told him to do a low approach, and not do anything but keep wings level. He quickly caught on to why we practice "wing low" method for XWIND correction. A lot of fun, but a bit challanging for him.

He enjoyed it though........

THanks man Im so excitied. Just had a lesson, but we didnt fly, decided to go over some book stuff, and I am going to study and go back in the morning and do some flying.

Study and take notes during your ground training. BIG pet peeve of instructors (as I'm sure some of them will chime in and say) is people that don't pay attention and take notes during their ground training. You're responsible for flying AND the knowledge that goes with it. Plus, you're paying for the ground, so you may as well get something out of it!

Study hard!

Yeah I didnt know what to expect this morning cause she hadnt told me what was going to happen. So I had just read what she had told me to read, but I hadnt really tried to study it to hard or memroize stuff cause I thought we were going to go over it all. But when I get in there she had me do some practice tests and I felt like an idiot cause I didnt know some of the stuff. Then when we started going over stuff I felt like I should be taking notes, but I didnt bring stuf with me to take them. Oh well thats what a frist day is for I guess. I will know what I need now for next time.
