Embraer might seem like a possibility, but our niche couldn't be served with 100 seat aircraft.
Just saw this posted over at the Embraer yahoo. Looks like the 190 is definitely being considered. It will be interesting to see how the order turns out. If it's all Embraer, then your business model would change completely. The MAA contract was definitely a determining factor. Hopefully, it's a double order so that you can preserve the payscale.

Spirit Airlines to order 60 planes-CEO
Tuesday February 24, 2:10 pm ET

CHICAGO, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Spirit Airlines plans to buy a minimum of 60 airplanes to fuel expansion plans, said Jacob Schorr, the privately held carrier's chief executive.
In a telephone interview from Spirit's Fort Lauderdale, Florida, headquarters, Schorr said the airline is discussing the potential order with Airbus (XETRA:EAD.DE - News; Paris:EAD.PA - News) and Embraer (Sao Paolo:EMBR3.SA - News) but is not currently talking to Boeing (NYSE:BA - News).

This was attached to an old thread, and was getting lost in the shuffle.
