During the 911 shutdown of the U.S. airspace a crashpad roomate of mine got stuck in Chicago. Told me he went in uniform to a trucking hub. Put his thumb out and got home via 18 wheeler.
 
Um... or you could just go hop on any number of airlines that are still taking Spirit jumpseaters... like JetBlue for example.

We are back in CASS and ID's are being accepted, thanks again to all of you out there that enabled us to jumpseat and supported us through this. I think that this show of solidarity in this profession will not go unnoticed for the next airline negotiation. Once again, thanks to all of you that made it possible for us to continue to travel!
