Looks like the Management at Mesaba are getting their ducks in a row for taking the 1113(c) step! Just a heads up. God knows they are not going to get consensual agreements!!! I wish that Judge for the NWA fa's would hurry up!

When you say, "Looks like," what looks like? Are you helping correct Spongebob's typos? Did you see the train at the end of the tunnel?

Bomber, are you referring to information that is available to furloughees or are you just being a tease? If the info isn't available outside of My Mesaba you might want to enlighten those who can no longer access it. Just point us in the right direction...

I just looked on MyMesaba and I don't see any "Special Edition Newslaunch."

along with everything else in this industry they have outsourced IT maintenance and support. I would imagine it will be on there tomorrow sometime. Im looking at it in paperform. Some of the headlines: "THE INDUSTRY AT A CROSSROADS" "MESSAGE FROM JOHN SPANJERS" "THE IMMEDIATE PROBLEM" MESABA MUST SOLVE THE PROBLEM ON ITS OWN" "UPDATE ON COST SAVINGS ACHIEVED" "COST SAVINGS NEEDED:LABOR" "FAIR SETTLEMENTS ARE IN REACH" and "ONE COMPANY MOVING FORWARD-TOGETHER"

Blah Blah Blah...

Hmmmm. Sounds to me like the company wants to start doing some negotiating. Or that's what an intelligently run company would do - but who are we kidding. This company couldn't manage a lemonade stand.

Or a Koolaid stand for that matter. No one at this company believes anything management says. The pilots are so ticked off that if management offered us our current book, we'd strike and shut the place down.

But hey, it's been an interesting ride down the toilet so far.

Special Edition News Launch:

Hey, employees: It's all the unions' faults! They are bad bad people. I, Spanky tha All-knowing, have seen the future: Unless we reach consesual agreements with labor (and by consesual, I mean gun-to-the-head-type consensus), we will definitely possibly maybe cease operations! Since the rest of the industry is whoring themselves out, you should too! All the cool airlines are doing it! We need these labor agreements soon. Somtime. Metrics!

Just think, if we were in the southern hemisphere we would be swirling in the other direction. Still down but the other direction. Any clue to when the apeal is to be ruled on?

As to the timeline in the Judge Davis response...it might be awhile, ALPA introduced a ton of documentation...he has a lot of reading to do. Sounds like Mesaba's counsel was asked some very obvious questions concerning everything that Sir Kischel seem to lack in asking about...it was no wonder the next day they announce the AVRO MSP closing.

....and now may be interested in negotiating. It would be funny if the gave the ten days and then the Judge reversed the bankruptcy court decision. I wonder how much spongebob and the crew would enjoy eating the terd sandwhich for once? cya

Truly excellent. Maybe if you give this to Sir Spankypants, he can save some good money for the company he would otherwise give to the BS factory! Just one paragraph says it all.
