Hi, I'm a spanish pilot with an ATPL license and over 2000 hours of single engine airplane. I'm thinking to get a type rating on 737 or A320. I want to know how difficult is to apply for a job of FO and if this type rating could help me. The country does not matter to me.

Thanks and sorry for my english.

I would spend the money building multi-engine time and try to get a job flying freight in a twin. The type will help you once you get 10,000 hours and 5,000 hours of jet with 1,000+ jet PIC.

If you can get the right to work in the EU and a JAA license, you could probably land a decent FO job with that kind of time if you add some multi-engine time to it.TC
