Congrats to all the Denver commuters!
And congrats to everyone who really couldn't stand that shuttle drive:):)
Great city- but I won't mourn the overnights

Do you guys ever have scheduled layovers in other domiciles? For instance, AirTran has bases in MKE and MCO buti find myself laying over in those cities all the time. Wondering if it's the same for y'all.

We don't typically overnight in domiciles. Irregular ops, and when the base is first opened is about it.

Yeah- this is one of the few bases where that's not a bummer- people started a rumor that FLL woul be a base bc all the fun layovers get domiciled: Baltimore, Vegas, Orlando, chicago etc

Looks like it will start with 250 pilots in Oct, then 400 flight attendants in Nov or Dec. I believe Vegas started with 250 as well. Anyone remember how far ahead of the opening the vacancy bid started for Vegas?

Better yet- which bases will become more junior???

It's just a normal vacancy bid. They should change the software in the next couple of months to allow you to put Denver in, they'll remind us over and over to make sure you have a bid for each base and seat position, then the vacancy bid will close around the 25th of August so that you can bid in early September for your Denver lines in October. So basically, we'll know how this all shakes 6 months from now. :)
