Had someone ask me what "SOP" means to a pilot... WTF are they talking about???

Sop

It stands for Standard Operating Procedure(s). From a pilot standpoint it is standardization on profiles, procedures, callouts, etc... Keeps things consistant when flying with different people all the time.
