Sop

It stands for Standard Operating Procedure(s). From a pilot standpoint it is standardization on profiles, procedures, callouts, etc... Keeps things consistant when flying with different people all the time.

SOP means the same thing in all businesses. It is no more a unique term to a pilot than FUBAR is :)
