Song, Delta Air Lines’ low-fare service, announced today its first international route with service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Nassau, Bahamas.

Song will commence the daily nonstop service on Dec. 1 and operate the new flight with Boeing 757 aircraft.

"It's our pleasure to offer Song's one-of-a-kind experience to customers traveling between these two popular destinations."

Delta mainline pilots operate Song flights.

Take a second or two to dissect Selvaggio's speech. Ok, I'll give them "Song's first international service", but "unique amenities", "unmatched customer service", "one-of-a-kind experience"? Gimme a break!

Well, it IS a free speech country after all even if it is a lie.

But Hey General, before you blast me I want to tell you that my kid Sister flew on Song last week to Los Angeles from MCO (not sure if it is direct service or what) and she was quite impressed. The only semi-negative comment she had was that she didn't think she should have to pay for a sandwich on a transcon but she said it was tasty for sure. She also got the standard "whaddya mean you want the whole Coke, Ma'am I have 180 people on this plane!" She replied with my standard response which is "and you only brought one Coke?" The FA must have been a mainline transplant/furloughee. I think she said she paid $330 RT which is pretty good I think. Her brother in law is a big DL muckety-muck in ATL and could've got them passes or something but I suggested they just buy the tickets to assure a seat. She didn't mention TV so I don't know if they had it on board. She (and her family) are die hard Jetblue'rs and of course, will stay loyal to us but I just thought you'd appreciate the compliments.
