Hey folks:

Looking for some direction on entering the "larger" jet corporate market. I am 42 years young, College degree in business have over 5400 hours with about 1300 multiengine and over 5,000 pic. I have an ATP and a first class medical. I have flown 135 and was with a 121 outfit (I hated the 121 culture) Liked the 135 but was really happy flying corporate small stuff part 91 (barons, Aztecs, Lance, Etc. they Just don’t pay enough and terrible equipment (I HATE ICE!)

Any advice on how to take this experience and get in the door of the larger turbojet marketplace. My turbine time is almost nothing (35 hours) so right seat is where I am destined to go and pay my dues. I am OK with this just don't want to get stuck over their.

Live in ATL but making a move is not out of the question. Thanks for any replies.

Regards

Just a quick opinion:

Look for a place that has both small and larger equipment. Maybe a charter/management company - sometimes this is the best way to eventually move up into the larger equipment.

Not that it hasn't been done - but not too many folks walk right into a GV/Global type job without being able to check the minority/female box - or without inside recommendations (or both!)

Companies also like locals . Hows the market in ATL? something to think about..

Best of luck to ya!
