I just got hired to fly the Beech 1900 and was wondering if anyone out there knows of good resources to try and give me some familiarization with the aircraft. AS well if anyone has some pointers in making it through the training with as much ease as possible thanks.

Will you be doing C or D model 1900's? In a LOFT class through college, we used Turbine Transition Manual by Dan Boedigheimer. Has alot of information on the 1900C but also goes over the differences in the 1900D.

try to....

get the guy at the local airport who flies a King Air to let you sit in the cockpit and figure out where all the switches and buttons are.

also, if you could just fly 5 to 10 hours as copilot, that would give you a huge leap in learning from the start
