Consider this both helpful advice and also my way of venting. When you make the rounds dropping off resumes, for crying out loud, dress appropriately. Black jeans, a black concert T-shirt (untucked, nonetheless), and black tennis shoes do not impress my chief pilot. What the he11 are you thinking?!

Aaaaaahhhh. I feel better.

Haven't you heard? Pilots no longer have to dress or look the part, their god like skills behind the yoke are all they need now, just ask the boys on the regional forum!

That's saying alot knowing how your CP dresses.

Maybe they should wear a silk button down short sleeve shirt with the top 2 buttons undone and a gold chain blazin!

Believe it or not, he was dressed well that day. It was an international day, so I expected the worst, but was pleasantly surprised. He did not wear a T-shirt under his uniform shirt, though.

They come to my office like that all the time.

My favorite was Cut off jeans, T-shirt, flip-flops with a resume in one hand and his motorcycle helmet in the other.

I actually was going to hire one that interviewed with me in a suit, but when I sent him to corporate headquarters to do his back-ground check paperwork and drug test (where he would meet the V.P. and CFO, he wore jeans and t-shirt.
It was a fatal mistake. V.P. called the Boss Man, and that was the end of that....NEXT

Black, black and black, at least they all matched...

Guess that means I won't be getting called to interview... next time I will wear my black tie, too.
