-Valid FAA Class 1 Medical
-Valid FAA ATP or Commercial Rotorcraft certificate with instrument rating.
Required Experience:
-Minimum 3000 hours helicopter pilot in command
-Minimum 800 hours pilot in command above 7000 feet DA.
-Minimum 500 hours pilot in command AS350 or MD500.
-Demonstrated long-line proficiency
-Proven record of safety
Additional knowledge and Skills:
-Basic computer skills
-Must demonstrate excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Job Description:
SCE uses helicopters to support and maintain the integrity of our electric utility system across 54,000 square miles of service territory. Our aircraft are based in Ontario, California and are available 365 days per year. Most of our activities are in the wire environment or similar supporting work. We routinely land above 10,000 msl. Our pilots are required to have significant external load experience. Most of our flying is patrolling, supporting crews, replacing power poles and similar work in a field operations environment.
Candidates must be able to work within the framework of a carefully organized team.
