Hello all,

Greetings from beautiful Deadford, Boregon -- I mean Medford, Oreg -- well, you get the idea!

Question: I am a 20-year-old 3rd generation pilot with less hours than a fuzzy yellow duckling. I am fairly convinced by everything I've heard, on and off record, that the professional integrity of Airman School's operation in Norman, OK is second to none. I think a few people who've got their CFI/CFII/MEI, etc. have posted their rave reviews here, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with their whopper $26K 6-7 month Professional Pilot Course? Anyone with experience/advice to share about Airman or these kind of programs in general is appreciated.

I believe Airman's pricing includes required books along with tuition, but I'm planning to leave in mid- to late August and I want to be fully mentally prepared to learn at their pace (if not slightly ahead of it). Y'all suppose there's any reading out there on the fundamentals you could steer me towards? I'll be scouring eBay and Amazon in the days to come....

Cheers and many thanks!
