Yep, Guadaloupe Holdings Airlines!! Yee haw!

I never really aspired to being there though, sorry dude.

We all can't be Corrosion Corner supplemental cargo pilots too! At least the weather's warm in Miami! Best of luck trying to get an interview with Southwest! If you are having trouble with the SWA application and can't find 3 friends to lie and write what a, "great guy" you are, then I would be happy to help out!

Dude, seriously?? I can't believe you would make fun of a bunch of hardworking MD-11 drivers. I kid around with you because you just hit the lottery and are being greedy. You seem to like to pick on guys less fortunate than you.

Also, you offering to help me with my Southwest app is silly, because you know and I know that you will probably never be over there unless you are one of the Guadaloupe Airlines pilots that get a preferential interview with Southwest in a couple years. Good luck with that. I will probably be on at Southwest before that ever happens.

Will you write me a letter for my Southwest preferential interview, please?!?!

Back to the thread. Guppy you want to turn this into the "other" guys fault. I said it before, I guess I will repeat myself, if the guy shows up at lobby and doesn't seem ready to go I will suggest to him that he needs to find a way off the trip, call in sick, whatever. If he doesn't take that advice or I don't notice (he says hi and sits in the back of the van or whatever) it is most definitely not on me.

I have been intoxicated many times and you can post the definition all you want the end result is the same. You know when you are drunk. You might be one of those guys who has a few, or more, and still think you are ok to drive. Guess what, you're not.

These threads ALWAYS turn into why the other guy didn't save the day. Well guess what, for every one of these idiotic stories there are probably dozens of stories where the other guy talked him into calling in sick. That SHOULD piss us off that your flying partners are putting us all at risk. Not only your life and the pax but also your livelihood. How many smoking holes do you think it will take to tank your lifestyle? Instead we sound like a bunch of welfare mama's decrying our bad luck that the bad man didn't take care of us.

Cry me a f****** river. Give it a rest and show up to work sober. Not a tough concept.

Seriously, what's the big deal with flying drunk? I don't mean drunk drunk, but having just a teensy tiny little buzz? Driving drunk, now that's different. All those lanes and intersections and crosswalks and merging traffic demand some serious quick-reaction time. But it's pretty hard to mess up taxiing around an airport, unless you're developmentally disabled, and once you're in the air and you hand it over to George, it's not like you're going to sidewswipe anybody.

Granted, landing does take some skill and concentration, but usually by the time you land you're sober again, so there you go.

Totally classless. Your not even at SWA yet, think you are, and have the ego to prove it. SWA should give everyone at AirTran preferential interviews so they can weed out people like you. I know a lot of good guys who were hired at the big A but I also know a lot of tools. Its about a 50/50 split. I don't know any tools at SWA.......yet.
