Well the first meeting has come and gone. No one will tell what happened in the meeting. God forbid the people paying your check know what is going on. The US government and my union have a lot in common!

I am allowed one right in this country and that is free speech. I figure that and my Union dues give me and others the right to speculate. Here is what I'm spreading.

SWAPA: Hands over a list with the AAI Master Executive Council at the top and the rest of the AAI pilot group stapled at the bottom.

Q&A: Several question ensue about the order at the top of the list. No deal is made because no one can agree to put Linden at the number 1 spot.

SWAPA: Light bulb goes off. They suddenly understand the position the rank and file are in at AAI.

AAI: Tosses a well thought out list across the table. It contains 17 groups of 100 pilots. Using 17 different methods to integrate each list.
Groups 16 and 17 are date of hire.

Group 1 uses a sophisticated algorithm.

Groups 2 through 5 incorporate a vegas style card shuffler.

The page explaining Group 6 is missing... in a last minute spot of genius they are moved to the bottom of the list assuming a courier can verify they are on the seniority list.

Groups 7-10 are done in order of block hours flown. Lowest hours becoming the most senior. No use in wasting good seniority on a workaholic who is happiest at work. The guy who throws raging keggers on his boat NEEDS! the weekends off.

Group 11 is awarded the super bonus. They will be integrated by height.

Group 12 must pay for the group 11 super bonus and is stapled to the bottom of the list. Long discussion ensues about group 6 and if they should be ahead of 12.

Groups 13-15 slide into a 4 to 1 ratio starting at the date of hire of the most junior pilot in Group 11

Q&A: Is short. The algorithm in step one completely throws SWAPA for a loop. The outdated abacus they have used since Herb founded the company won't stand up to the advanced equations.

After exchanging lists of possible arbitrators they adjourn to the post negotiation activities. Nothing from this portion of the evening is on record but the Wall Street Journal is reporting a 60% boost in Dallas liquor and restaurant sales.

We'll know when we know.

Until then let's just bash the hell out of each other on here. It will make things go much smoother.

Gup

Weren't the flightinfo trannies begging for a staple at one point right on this site? What has changed all of the sudden?

Vegas card shuffler................that's hilarious.

Ty, don't quote the Village Idiot. It makes my ignore feature useless... :D

I wouldn't expect to hear jack crap about anything for about 90 days. So find that buddy in groups 7-10 and enjoy the summer.

If it goes to arbitrator Bloch, just ignore all deadlines. Even if he says it will be out at a certain time himself, it won't be.
