Oh boy, the ChiComs are launching their first "taikonaut" into space. Here's the story

How long will it be until they can put an ICBM into New York City?

They can supposedly already reach Los Angeles, and have threatened to do so - with nuke tipped ICBMs.

Also remember that the Chinese ICBMs' accuracy was refined by technology released to them by US defense contractors, under a waiver given by the Clinton Administration- after the Chinese made a generous donation to the Democratic Party. Anyone remember that either?

On the good side, this will certainly restore the sense of global competetition in space exploration. Maybe now, people will stop complaining about the money we spend on the space program.

It will be interesting to see if the Commies are able to beat Burt Rutan into space, too!
