Does anyone know what the current plans are for Skywest on hiring and do they still have quick upgrades to the EMB120?

I have a buddy whose resume I passed up the channels that got the call for an interview today.

Looks like the interview pool has dried up and they're gonna start interviewing off the street again...

Latest company memo (got yesterday) indicates newhire classes every month. Upgrades times still appear to be extremely quick.

First year pay for the EMB and the RJ is 19.02. Second year pay in the EMB is 27.42. For the RJ it's 34.54.

As to the interview....................I have no clue. I did it almost 13 years ago.

Holdon - search previous posts, this info has been beaten to death, as far as the interview, checkout aviationinterviews.com, that site seems to have a lot of info.

Some info....

I interviewed just recently. I was told that the pool is mostly empty from two newhire classes (EMB) this month. They told us that we are being hired into the pool, but they are expecting newhire classes every month. I'll just have to tread water for a bit, but waiting for a company like SKYW is worth it. I was scheduled for interview earlier this year and was cancelled, so were most in the group. The others were already SKYW employees. Don't know if they are street hiring, but I did hear that they are hiring those with strong inside reccomendations, as in senior capts and check airmen.

As far as searching old threads, I have and haven't found to much info. I'm new to this board and didn't have the chance to see the prior info. So, If anyone in the know would be kind enough to PM me or tell me where I could go to find the info (Pay, Bases, Equip, expected upgrade, work rules ect) I would most appreciate it. There used to be a site that had all of their pay rates for the EMW and CRJ. It was in a spread sheet.

I just got the call today for an interview on 8/28. I sent my stuff in via their website back in the beginning of the year.
