Hello, any thoughts on what the Comair/ASA thing at SLC means for Skywest? Thanks, Weffy

Nothing much. It's part of Delta's hub diversification after the Comair strike. Delta wanted to "spread the wealth" for the Connection carriers so if one should go on strike the hub would not be shut down. This was all in plans long before the current financial woes.

classes on hold?

I heard yesterday "rumor in the crew lounge" that May Jet classes have been cancelled, thus I would guess it will be at least that long for a new hire EMB class to start...don't put too much faith into any news posted here though! The next thing you know we will be short EMB pilots and you will be drinking from the fire hose. Just keep sharp on Memory items and get lots of rest and we will see you on the ramp soon!
