I was wondering how long it takes to hold a line on either the 120 or CRJ.

Thanks.

Or...

I was in the January 6th class and have been on reserve the entire time. So to answer the original question - it depends on where you get based.

OR...

I was in the Jan 6th Class and could have held a line in June had I preferred one over a reserve line with the days I needed off.. I have a decent line this month.. and next month I am holding 2 day back to backs with weekends off.. which I really like.. but the commuters dont appreciate...

Time on reserve depends on several factors.. The guys with the higher seniority in the class with the right bases held lines right off IOE.. those with lower seniority within class or in other domiciles have been on reserve the whole time. Newhires in the jet will probably be on reserve for over a year as more senior brasilia pilots go through transition and jump ahead of them... it's a crapshoot.. but with luck it won't be too long...

Good luck!

Depends on the domocile.
My old business partner has been with the company over three years, an FO and is still on reserve on the jet in PSP. Then again there are 14 year Captains on reserve there.

Well, a "crap shoot" is better than "reserve for 7 years with no hope" like at some other places!

Thanks, hopefully see you all out there in a few months... :D
