Skywest Question

In the new Jan. 2003 issue of Flight Training, it says that Skywest received a new CRJ900 in Sept. Is this true? I didn't think that the new CRJ would be online until later on this spring. This statement was found on page 52 of the magazine.

I was under the impression that Freedom was supposed to be the first US customer to receive the CRJ900.
