Hey guys!! i went to a skywest job fair a month ago. i did the hr portion and thats about it. they told me that i will be getting an e-mail to see if they want me to go to salt lake, but nothing yet. is this normal for skywest? i did call them and i just got a voicemail. so far i havent got a return phone call. what you do guys think?

Hey don't sweat it, the same thing happened to me when I interviewed. Camille called me back the next day, there was some mistake of emailing/not emailing me the invite, but she resent it and was hired 1.5 weeks later. Good luck, not everything is perfect, but from my experience this is a good company.

If you know anyone at SKYW you could have them email her on your behalf. If you don't know anyone you can PM me your name and I'll do it. It could just be that hiring has slowed down during the holidays or maybe people in the hiring dept are on vacation

sorry, I callled her and she called me back the next day, I just told her I wanted to see if they needed anything else for me. That way I didn't seem to just be calling to see about the interview, at least that's what I told myself. But like Piloto said if you're not comfortable doing that just ask someone to do it for you, I could do it too. Good luck

the same thing happened to me. Didn't get a response from them after two weeks. Then I put my stuff in with Republic, got a call the next day to come interview. I interviewed a week after that and was offered a spot that same day for a class a week from then. Started class with Republic and a couple days after that got two E-mails and a phone call from Skywest. Go figure.. So it was about 3 weeks from the job fair till the call and emails. Wait it out a bit if that's really where you want to go.

Yup, had about the same thing happen to me. Applied to Eagle and SkyWest on the same day. Heard back from Eagle the next day. Heard from SkyWest two weeks later, the day after I had received a job offer from Eagle. I went to the SkyWest interview and was offered a job on the spot, so I ended up turning down the Eagle class date. Be patient--they take a little longer... and the interviewing/hiring/training department seems to be in their typical Christmas slowdown.

Why did you do that? You could have upgraded to line holder FO by now at Eagle.

How about we lock any thread more than say, six months old?

Good idea. I wouldn't wait that long though. If a thread hasn't had a post in the last thirty days it has run it's course as far as being relevant. Someone is always free to start a new thread if it suddenly becomes a timely topic again.

Mods, what do you think?

......Says the kid who's birth is the result of a broken condom and a pro basketball team!

A least I warranted talented parentage... You,-sir, are the infortunante result of chance meeting of two "differently-abled" tweens in Cabo.

-Nasty, nasty....
