do the FO's get any kind of a type rating? Even an SIC type in the CL-65 or EMB-120?
 
No in the Brasilia, but yes in the jet. You also get PBS and SAPA at no additional cost, except to your QOL.
 
No you do not get a type rating. The SIC type put on your certificate is nothing more than a paperwork exercise, it is not a type rating. It is an ICAO thing so that you can fly to Canada/Mexico.
 
I hate Canada.
