My girlfriend is going to the openhouse next week in LA. Any insight as to what she can expect. Her time is 2500TT, 600 Multi.

Thanks

Probably an interview or an invite back, seems competitive with the times.
Search the threads for more info in what others reported a few weeks back on the openhouse and what to expect.

I went to the open house in SLC about a month ago. There were not very many people there when I went. Primarily they will show a video, to get you excited about working at skywest, tell you about the company and its plans to grow in the future. They will tell you that the mins are 1000 and 100, but the competitive mins are 2500 total and some turbine time. Depending on how many people are at the open house with better qualifications she can expect the option for a full interview. They offered me a full interview on the spot and i had 2500 and 500 multi, with some 135 experience, and no turbine time.

They are looking for people that they can put right into the CRJ.
PM me if you have specific questions, I have a few friends that work for skywest, i may be able to get some answers to specific questions you may have.

I went to the openhouse in Denver and it seemed like it was basically a screening process. Finding applicants that have the time and experience (turbine time) and are truly interested in a position at skywest. The questions they asked where on the lines of who you are and what you've been doing. Then they ask about your history, criminal record, misdemeanor, have you killed any one. You know the basics. If you don't have any disqualifying issues then they will invite you to Salt Lake for the interview. Just go in with a good attitude and expect to be waiting around quite a bit. Good Luck

Anybody know if SkyWest has any more of their "openhouses" planned for Denver anytime soon?

Cheers,
G
