OK, what part of this have I got screwed up?

I've read on here that pay doesn't start until the first day of IOE.

But in the contract I am reading up at www.pilotcontracts.com it says that new hires get paid a 65 hour a month garantee, until IOE when they bump to the normal reserve garantee of 75 hours.

Anyone know what's what? Thanks...

Since the 2/3/03 class no new hire has gotten paid but they do put you up double occupancy. There was only a short time 24 months or so that they were paying new hires in training. This was mostly due to the fact that Skywest was forced to cut 20 million from our cost per UAL and DAL. It is tough but things are moving quick lots of planes coming. Good luck

Thanks Chairman. I thought it might be something like that.

I'm glad I just get to get back in the game!

Skywest Benefit question

Anyone with details as to when the other Skywest benefits begin? Pass-travel, medical, jumpseat, etc. Is there a 90 day waiting period? Any details would be great.

I've got a friend in the nwehire jet class right now and he said no pay, but they did give him his own room...

Bluto

Jumpseat is immediately available.

Travel passes vary depending on the airline. Some require 14 days(UAL) and other require 6 months of verifiable employment.

Medical and dental is available after 30 days I beleive, dont qoute me on that one.

You can jumpseat as soon as you get your ID.

UAL WYO passes at 14 days.

DL ID100s at 90 days.

Medical at first of month after 90 days

User time starts building at 90 days

Vacation at 6 months but you cant use it until 1 year.

Buddy passes and off line travel at 6 months.

401k at 90 days (2% match after 1 year),

Employee stock ownership at approx 6 months.

HOPE THIS HELPS.

benefits

As a pilot, jumpseat privs. start the first(second?) day when you get your company ID.. though management strongly requests that you wait the two weeks that the other employees must wait. You will be slightly busy that first two weeks with groundschool anyway.. though some of the furloughees in my class had urgent affairs to attend to and did jump back home during class. After 2 weeks you and your eligibles can fly skywest(id100), united(wyos, small fee) and delta(id100 you/spouse?, id95 others). Benefits with other airlines kick in over the next 3-6 months depending on the specific agreement.
Congrats and welcome

Bluto, check your PM's...
