Better pay, and better than undercutting licensed individuals because some airline is looking to do sh1t the wrong way.

You know they are going to hire a bunch of morons, that's kinda the point of not requiring any college or trade skill/technical license. I bet they would hire illegals if they could.

I agree with you.

It's a flight follower position. This position usually pays $9 - $12/hr at most airlines. The only thing they can't do is actually dispatch.

Nope. Not a flight follower job. In fact, its a position, that those with dispatch certificates, get an override above the dispatch payscale. Most recently it was referred to as a coordinator.

Hey Props....are you gone? Is today your last day? If so, good luck! and drive safe.

Tell all those poor bastards at Evergreen that I know that I said, "What's Up!"

It isn't undercutting anyone. The licensed people have had multiple
chances to put in for it and haven't. Others have done it for awhile
and went back to dispatching. Those that did, did it for schedules
or simply didn't like it. More money would not have made them
stay in the position. The few that came to do the job only when
the override increased did a piss poor job.

The intent is to get OPS people WITH EXPERIENCE to come do the
job. The incentive is to get the license after 18 months without
having to take a leave of absence and shell out $6000 to get
a license.
