I wouldn't hold yer breathe on that happening

Thank god. I thought I was going to pass out.

People are still being interviewed for the pool. As far as I know they interview anyday of the week about four to six people per day. Apparently there will be no new classes until the end of the year.

yeah let's get serious...anybody have an interview scheduled yet??
Don't know about the interviews, but I do know the Pilots pay raises were withheld by skyway management. Not a happy lot of pilots over there right now.
Maybe they didn't get the ACA contract?

Yeah, what's the status on the potential Delta contract? Does that look likely or do we think Comair will get the flying (and maybe the Dorkjets)? Things seem to change by the day...

Site sources for the no pay raise issue? And if you ask anyone who knows me I'm never happy!
The DCI contract date was pushed to March at the request of DCI, that is from our CP. As far as training goes I'm still in upgrade and going to the sim next week, looks like RW was wrong warrior

I know a guy who was promised Teh Dork, but ended up getting Teh Mighty Beech
and another may not even get a class date
so much for the Delta deal

Rouge Warrior? Isn't rouge some kind of cosmetic? Not that there's anything wrong with that.......

Interviews, yes, still going.

March is the new start, I guess. Rumor is the airplanes are in much worse shape than the ones we have. Seems like a strange reason to push. I guess it will take some time to get stuff straight, the aircraft and Delta's financial position. Just be patient, or try, it's still a long road ahead.

I dont think you are ever promised an airplane at an airline. At best you can be told what to expect. The Delta deal is still on. It seems we are still running classes. I am always so amazed to what degree everyone on this board is "in the know". I fly here and I dont even know. If you knew our corporate culture you would know that as conservative as we are we would not be ramping up for a maybe. At night I am still snuggled in bed with visions of DO Jets running through my head.

I know about 300 pilots that were supposed to get a pay raises but haven't yet. Looks like the makeup man(RW) was right.

Payrates

Anyone that went to the roadshow and heard the terms of the new contract a year ago, heard about the "possible" one month extension of the pay rates. Anyone vaguely familiar with this airline should have known right away that we weren't going to see those rates at dos+12. I think everone is mostly upset about being told everything was ok till 01SEP, and then finding out via a memo with our paycheck, that we didn't make the goal, and will have the same payrates for another month.

I had an interivew last week. My interviewers stated they would be hiring into a pool which if delta thing did not work out, people in the pool would be furloughed. :(

I should get my letter this week if I got in or not. It was my first Airline interview and I think I did ok, but u never know! I hope I get it cause Skyway looks like a real good place to work.

Take care all

Justino :)

Justino - I hope you make it. But just to let you know. A pool is not furloughed but rather flushed. If you make class and get the senoirity number, then you are furloughed. Like I said I hope you made it - seem luke a level headed guy in your posts, just didnt want you to get your hopes set wrong.

GP

Ps. The Delta deal is going to go through. I feel it in my bones.
