Hey does anyone know much or work for Skyway Ent.
The called me and told me that they are hiring Short 360 Pilots, but I have to pay for my own type rating. If I get typed I get to fly this airplane as a PIC. If anyone can give me some feedback on the company. Pay isnt suppose to be bad at all, and plus I am also thinking about PIC turbine. Thanks for the help guys

Paying for a Shorts 360 type rating? Now I've heard it all. I absolutely would not do this.

I am not suggesting he should or agreeing to anything, but, in today's world and the significance of PIC turbine, it's a thought, PIC is valuable for abtaining a job anywhere that will be around for awhile, ie SWA, and AirTran. Yes I have 3000 hours in one, all 121, but great plane, fun to fly, Skyway Ent.???? well the pay for a Captain is much better than an FO.

How much is the type? the sim is in LGA right?

With your time, why not apply at Ameriflight and go for the BE-99, Metro or Brasilia?

Yeah, I want to fly the 99 at AMFlight, I actually have more flight time now than what my profile says.

Come to Air Cargo Carriers and buy the type here....I know they have charged people less than that.

When I say charged...I mean people that just wanted a type in the shorts. Not to hire the people.

Kewl, I will surelly do that, I send Air Cargo my stuff. I also realize that a lot of people might be trying to get in also, so if you guys could put in a good word. That would be greatly appreciated! Thanx for all your helo and advice guy. These are the times when I like pilots hehehehe
