Yea, I am also in the class... Where are you planning on staying? I set up a room at the Sheraton today. PM me so we can compare notes!

The Baymont just down the road from headquarters gave me a good deal 4 years ago and they have a free breakfast check them out I think it is cheaper.

Congrats on the class! Most of our class stayed in the Baymont, and for the first few nights. (we finish ground school next Wednesday) 39.00 per night a free shuttle to and from the training center, and a free continental breakfast. That is the cheapest. It seems that their are plenty of crashpads around and most of the class is now either gotten apartments or a crash pad.

Have fun in the jet!

I just got the letter from Skyway a week ago!! Something bout a June class was mentioned in my interview and they also mentioned they were short on ground instructors. Has anyone else heard anything about a June class. Either way Im looking forward to working with a great company. Also, how long is ground school and where is sim training done?

Thx in advance

Congrats on the class! Training is about two months from what I have heard. I heard that the last class had a three week break between the class and sim in the DOjet. I guess they are a little backlogged. Anyhow, I think this is going to be a great company to work for.

As far as the hotel goes, I am paying $35 a night at the Sheraton and there is supposed to be a kitchenette in the room. I am not sure about the ride to training....

Good luck to all.

Sim training...

Years ago, Sim training for the Beech was done at Flightsafety LGA, although it has also been done at Daytona Beach and Toronto.

Sim. for the jet was done in Dallas, if memory serves. Not sure if that still holds true or not, but at least you get an idea!

March 1 class had 18 newhire jet FO's along with six CA upgrades. There are some FO's that will have more than three weeks between CPT's and the sim.

The March 1 class was split (not evenly) between Dallas and Dulles.

Peace

So is this Delta Dojet thing for sure. It seems like you guys are hiring an awful lot for your current size, sounds like it all BUT official.

the baymont skyway rate is 30 a night
FYI

I just booked a room there for my parents for a few weekends from now.

Nothing official as of yet, just a whole bunch of hoping(sp) from the people to lazy to move to another airline;). I know that the Beech captain upgrades have already past me buy, so it better happen.

Take Care
