Simulator Similarity Question

I've got an upcoming interview with SkyWest, and plan to do the ATC-810 in SLC just prior, but I want to get a bit more general practice with a sim since I've never flown one before. There is a Frasca 142, and an AST-300 near my home and I was wondering if one would be more beneficial to fly than the other.

Which ever one costs less per hour to operate. Consider you've never been in a sim.
