If you are a sim/ground instructor for a place like Flight Safety, CAE, etc can you give me an idea of the life style, +/- of the job?

At CAE you work a 5 on 1 stby 2 off schedule and make about the same pay as guys flying the equipment you train them on.

Most of the guys I know doing it love it. It is hard to get in though.

It is a good gig in the Gulfstream program... However, Beware the Raytheon POD.... Ask for the straight poop and I will give it to you....

New Jersey

I spoke to my friend in Morristown, NJ. He is very happy and told me they are just posting a Falcon EASy IP and a G450/550 IP due to growth.

If you're interested let me know and I'll pass to him.

Be very leary of what you are promised... Like I said, the problem is hopefully isolated to the Dallas Raytheon POd. I do however know a former employee who was screwed during his job offer to Morristown. I will be very forthright with all who ask. This is an inside perspective not a friend of a friend...

I guess

I guess it all depends on who you talk to.

I am thinking about applying to the Morristown Center myself (been everywhere and done that. Love Marriott hotels but when they seem more like home than home, then it's time to look for other choices).
