Profit was down slightly from the previous third quarter. Most likely due to the payout to Northwest and having to reduce the total block hours because we don't have enough pilots.

Something a "Simply the Best" contract would correct immediately.
 
Just remember that all work groups are underpaid. I know a guy that calls his work groups pay checks the "bi-weekly insult".
 
I think the penalty is in this one and the 1.5 mil bonus for not returning the jets is allocated over the next two quarters.

What is lost on mgmt is how effective it could be if people WANTED to work at 9E and WERE SATISFIED.
