Hey everyone. Have an interview next week for a Captain position with Silver. Can anyone shed some light with respect to how many hours a month one can realistically bid, how many days a month etc.

Thanks in advance,

Avrat

Who?

Oh, you mean Gulfstream... Have fun.

FLL is the most senior base and all the Florida flying is going to Saabs. BIL is the junior base and the trips (all like 8 of them) are day, 2, 3, 4 trips, all commutable on both ends. The lines are anywhere from 78 to 84 hours a month. 11-14 days off. The CP has been saying that anyone hired in the first wave should be on the Saab by the end of the year. I guess the plan is to eventually have 4 sets 1900's in BIL and Ohio then all Saabs in FL. They opened GNV as a maintenance base and it'll become a crew base as well pretty soon. They are short Captains on the 1900 and the next class 2/20 is all street-hire Captains.
