Has anyone on the board ever SIEd from OTS and then tried to get back in?
I had an OTS/UPT slot, went to OTS. Unfortunately, because of urgent family matter I had to SIE.
It took a while, but now everything has been resolved and I am trying to get back in (OTS/UPT). Does anyone have any advice?
Many thanks.

SIE isn't an automatic disqual...

From what I understand, if you SIE for reasons beyond your control (IE family emergency, health issues, etc), you can be allowed another shot. If you SIE'd just because you didn't want to be there, I think you're out of luck.

Talk to a recruiter, or look up the AFOATS web site and talk to someone about the issue. If you can show that your SIE was due to a situation outside your control, you can get another stab at OTS.
