Rumor has it that a class date is being scheduled for mid-month. They are interviewing on thursday and friday. I heard that they were trying to get 16 people in the class.

The rumor is true. Interviews are starting this morning at 10am local time.

There are supposed to be 16 in the class. Has anyone got an invite to join yet? We also are supposedly picking up new cities next month. Anyone have any clue which ones?

I think it's fair to say that if they are planning a class of 16 in five days that they have extended "invitations" by now.

New cities are Brussels, Sao Paulo, Surfers Paradise, and Kuala Lumpur... All direct from Ft. Wayne.

You heard it here first. :D

JUST A RUMOR!!!!! But I heard IND and BUF. Very interesting if you ask me, considering half the company lives there. I can see it now. Planes will get grounded there so everyone will get to spend more time at home. HAHA.

Those of you going to class on Monday....

Please tell us what jobs you left, so we can pick up the few crumbs that out there. Company name, Chief Pilot name, address, phone numbers, equipment flown,....any info would be appreciated.

Piece out,.... whatever that means.

Hey, Slick, I think you mean PEACE out. But I won't tell you what it means. :)

RK... I have heard good and bad things about every imaginable cell phone plan, both in general and specific to our cities. Keep in mind that most places we fly are in or close to large enough population centers that coverage won't be an issue, so it comes down to the brand of phone you want and what plan you want.

I use AT&T one rate. Very expensive but I've never, ever had coverage issues or surprise LD or roaming charges. I've had it for years and recommend it if you can afford it.

I'm leaving a 7 month indention in my couch named "unemployment". I hope I don't meet him again for a very long time.

Anyone care to guess if the above is a "real" question or if it's flamebait?

Maybe I'll start a poll.

Verizon

I have been with verizon forever. I always get call id and a digital signal at all the cities. Good luck to those with the class date. Study hard and we'll meet someday either in the sim or ioe. Did I mention study hard.

I have been led to believe that it's 15 pilots and 1 dispatcher.

Hmmm, so if all make it through we will be quite heavy on the FO side.
sniff,sniff...methinks I smell an upgrade class. Thats good because I'm developing a serious case of right seat rage.
