I was thinking about going out to sheble to finish up my cfi. ive been so busy with work and school that it just seems like it keeps dragging out. what's everyones thoughts about the 8 day cfi program at sheble. i have both writtens done and all my flying in the past 4 months have been from the right seat so im confortable. thanks!

hit and miss.....I did all 3 of my cfi's there.....You wont get done in 8 days though...I got sent home the 1st time because they couldnt schedule my checkride with a dpe....Went back 2 months later and it took 2 weeks to get my checkride with the fsdo..passed 1st time. Vinny does a good job getting you ready.

Good folks at Sheble. Been there years back for MEL and CFI. I really enjoyed it.

I was there just a few months ago. Great place, and they deliver! Go in with a positive attitude, be willing to learn, study hard, and have nothing else on your mind other than flying [for whatever cert/rating you are going for]. Do that, and I bet you will pass the first time.

As far as their CFI program goes, I dont know if you can finish in 8 days, largely because the checkride needs to be scheduled with a FSDO.

Getting just the initial CFI can be done it the 8 days if thats what your talking about. Did my CFI and later my CFII there. Come knowing everything and treat the place as a quick test prep course. There are things to know that you wont be taught there. Overall I enjoyed the school though.

I did my CFII in 2 days....very easy....just pay and go.

I got my CFI there in 7 days, I have nothing bad to say about them. But a buddy of mine just left there because they didnt have enough planes. Most of there twins had been broken or geared up.
