Sennheiser 25KA use with ATR/Turboprop

I'm looking to sell my Bose and buy something smaller and more lightweight. Bose is comfortable for an hour, but with sunglasses my ears get sore as hell after more than that. I've seen a lot of photos with ATR pilots in europe wearing Sennheiser 25KA with ANR. Anyone know how these would hold up in a turboprop like the ATR?

Any overall experiences? If it makes it at least as quiet as a passive DC, it'll be enough. Not looking for bose quiet. But DC passive level at the very least.
