My employers have decided to get rid of the Chieftain Panther I fly for them. They are thinking King Air 90, but who knows whtat will happen. I am based in the Triad of NC and wondering if anyone has any leads for contract work or a fulltime co-pilot postion. Also wondering about the website bizjetjobs.com and if it's worth the price.

Thanks for the help.

Not familiar with that job site, but have been happy with climbto350.com. A few years back I did get a job off of planejobs.

It seems that you feel like you will be out of a job? Have you asked if you will be trained on the kingair if/when it comes?

I will be trained in the kingair if they follow thru, at first I felt pretty positive they were going to proceed with the purchase, but now I get a more negative feel.

i'd say continue to look for a new job until 2 things take place with current employer. 1, the king air is on property and 2 you are sitting at FlightSafety.

I'm on bizjets.com...seem to have a good mix that isn't duplicated at Avianation. Some decent leads from there...will post if anything comes of them.

I on Climbto350 and Bizjetjobs. Bizjet seems to have the same jobs as 350, avcrew, and corporatepilot.com.

In my opinion, don't waste your money with Bizjetjobs.

Thanks for the info and advice. I have been a member at Climbto350.com and think there site is pretty good. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope to see a shiny KingAir soon.

PantherPIC,

I've been in your shoes before. Start looking for a job. My former employer wanted to go from KA90 to BE400. Talking all sorts of good things, except the girls in finance told me a different story. I started looking and found a job just as the props were chained by a creditor. NO BS, chains on the props and locks on the hangar door.

So you are based in the Triad, but do you want to stay there or move for a job?

I have decided to look for another job. I can't wait around to see what happens. The latest is that they will go from paying a salary to pay by the day if they even get the KingAir. Also, I would like to stay in NC, maybe not the Triad, but will definitely move outside of NC if that is what it takes.
