Ok folks -

Let's here from you on this one, Has anyone committed a sin against the FAA, and lived through the self disclosure process?

- Interested

Any “sin” committed was against the People of the United States according to the US Code (USC) Title 49, etc. etc. not the FAA.

Are you speaking of the Voluntary Disclosure Reporting System (AC 00-58) or the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) (AC 120-66B)?

No one liked calling it the “VD” program so it was changed to “SD” Self Disclosure but the AC has not changed. This process was begun by your company and normally a line pilot is not involved.

The ASAP program is a different program and more involved. Which program are you asking about?

And Yes, there have been survivors. Some even lived and left the meeting with most of their major organs. (Yes, I know it is sick humor, but He started it)

I won't talk about a single case, but I can discribe the process.
