We operate a Citation 501 single pilot and the boss is asking about "industry standard" per-seat liability coverage. Was wondering what other operators have on their particular aircraft. I know that it depends on a company's preferance/budget/comfort level, but was looking to get some ballpark input.

Thanks in advance.

I feel that you should have "smooth" lib. coverage with no limit per seat. The amount of this coverage should be the net worth of the company operating the aircraft. On most policies this does not cover the crew unless you pay extra for that coverage, as the crew is covered by workers comp.
