Sooo....I was toying with the idea of getting my Single Engine Seaplane rating for fun. Can anybody recommend good places? I know about Sheble. Lets keep it in the western US.

Maybe someplace that would make a good vaction too!

I heard about La Placa Flying Service in Lake Havasu. I called 4 years ago, but they were booked solid on the weeks I could come out. I haven't re-attacked it. La Placa can get you the ATP for seaplanes: useless, but cool to have!
Also, there's Norcal Aviation in the northern CA sierras, but I don't know anyone that's flown with them.
