BS!

Sceneic turns down guys with 4000 hours and plenty of multi-turbine to hire chicks with 1300 hours of piston. Nothing personal, it's just BS. Merit means nothing anymore.

Wow, you guys are so friendly and supportive. Planegirl, let me be the first (and hopefully not only) to say congratulations on your groundschool date. Also, let me commend you for ignoring the sarcastic and/or insulting comments from the previous posters.

As for BaronFR8dog's comments, maybe they caught a whiff of your attitude and decided to steer well clear of you. Sorry to hear they turned you down, but seriously if this is the first time in your career someone with less time than you was hired and you weren't, you really need to get used to it. Life ain't fair. This industry sure as he!! ain't fair. Nobody owes you anything.

Hey Planegirl,

welcome to what should be considered the beginning of your airline career. Study hard and stay sharp, these traits will serve you better as you move on to bigger and better things...

Planegirl,
Enjoy the fruits of your hard work. Don't let anyone get you down. I'd like to know what it would take to work out a j/s agreement with Scenic. We have a lot of overnights in LAS and I know a lot of people would like a tour. If you find out who the coordinator is, PM me so I can pass it along to our guy.

Thanks, and good luck.
