I just got a call from Scenic for an interview. Anybody have any information they would be willing to share. Aviationinterviews.com only had one posting, and a search within flightinfo was pretty fruitless.

I have a friend at Scenic. According to him:

-there are still poolies waiting for a class. even if they started now, they'd be coming online as the peak season ends. he doesn't think they'll spend the $ to train poolies now this late into summer, but he doens't know.

-he reports to the airport at 5 AM, doesn't get home until 7 PM most night. 12 bucks an hour for flight time, 6 bucks for sitting time

-flying is almost all VFR

-no real benefits as far as health care

good luck, when do you go? did you have an 'in?'

My interview is on the 25th, and no I didn't have an in. I appreciate the info, I didn't know they had a pool, hopefully it will move quickly through school. Any info on the training?

how'd you get called with only 1000TT?

I heard they only accept the online apps if you have the required 1200TT.

I also heard they only call people with in-house recommendations?
