This is typical of all the companies I have ever worked for. I think this may be typical of corporate america. Few care for anyone but themselves.
 
This is when you know a company is too big, all they care about is the bottom line......if they even care about that?
 
UAL is a huge corporation. Just like any other company or any institution that is very large, you are a number. That is just the way it is. It doesn't matter if you are working for UAL or on a 40,000 student college campus.

There are companies, college campuses, etc., with small populations for those that want that "family" service.

Anyhow, UAL treats customers like dirt so why would the "owners" (what they like to call the employees to make them feel better about owning stock not even useful as toiletpaper) be treated any better? I'm not just blaming any one particular group b/c I've seen all the employees of UAL throw temper tantrums over the past 5 years in order to get more money which in the end hurt the customers.
