saw an SU-30 mishap today

Was in the cockpit on the ramp following engine shut down, and this SU-30
passed over us really low, and then his wingman is going down the runway near the end with flames coming out of the rear.

Wasnt able to stop in time and goes into the arresting barrier.

Turned out one engine failed on final, and took out the other either on short final or right after touchdown.

Drag chute was burned off, and hydraulics were gone...

Indian AF told the news media it was a precautionary landing and that was how it was listed in the newspaper...

Amazing how a plane on fire, no engines or hydraulics left is precautionary landing
