Anyone familiar with the self-serve area at KSAV? Can you park a single-engine there for a few hours? Is there gate access in and out? Where exactly is it on the airport? Thanks.

If you mean access to the airline terminal gates, no. That would require a local SIDA badge. Refer to this diagram to see the relationship between the GA and the terminal access:

Obviously I was referring to GA access. There is a 100LL self-serve ramp on the airport. I assume it is off Taxiway B either in G-1, G-2, or G-3 areas. Just need a few hours parking and be able to exit through a gate to street side to meet someone.

Disregard. Called. No parking room available, no outside gate access. Strictly fueling. Signature it is, regrettably.
