Can't remeber his name, but I applied there a while back. He called, seemed like I nice guy but job is lame. Low pay, no stability. Great area to live in, but if you have the time to fly there go to the reginals instead.

Does anyone know who the chief pilot at Salmon Air is?

Beware of this operation. Do a NTSB search on them for there recent accident history, I was on the accident aircraft in Garden Valley in 1998, the aircraft ran out of fuel on its way to Boise. I think they also DBA Mountain Bird INC. From what I understand from my family that lives in Salmon is that they are under new management now, so things might be better. Just be advised of them if you are considering working there.

I had a buddy just come back from an interview with them. They are looking for Cap. first but plan on hiring entry level for Montana in 207's & 6's. He turned them down after seeing the operation at the location in Moab. They told me to contact them after I get me SE land comm. But I now have a date with Pinnacle this week.
Hope that helps.
